Longsword for Armored Combat

This longsword is made to represent a practice version of one of the swords Fiore describes at the end of the armored combat section of the Getty version. It weighs about 4 lbs and is very rigid to the hand grip area. The tip is kept as thick as possible to help prevent injury. It is recommended to further cover the tip with a rubber blunt or leather. This is the sword that has been used at the Armored Deed at Lysts on the Lake, and the WMAW 2011. Just the blade is shown, better pictures will be coming soon.
