DA2BR Bated Rapier Blade

The DA2BR Bated Rapier blade is wider, stiffer and heavier than the DA1PR Practice Rapier. It more accurately represents the weight of many "period" rapier blades, (rather than being a "sport blade" from present times). It can be fullered and/or pierced as well. The tang is the same as a Practice Rapier, though, so you could swap back and forth if needs arise.

The Bated Rapier, though heavier and thicker, is still not our most recommended option for the SCA Cut and Thrust Experiment... though it survives much better than any Practice Rapier would.
