I ordered a small and it fits like a well perfectly sized glove. I took a hit..... ok a lot of hits on the mask from some long sword fighting and the mesh isn't even dented. One thing that I discovered much to my pleasure is that while the outside of the mesh is silver the interior of the mesh has been blackened to prevent a nice bright glare from blinding you. At $60.00 this is a steal, I am probably going to be ordering another one just in case I have a sparring partner who needs some gear.

I purchased two of these masks some 12 months ago and they certainly are value for money. They fit well and they're comfortable to wear and they are very robust.

This is an excellent budget mask. The sizing is excellent. The medium fits me well, but I have to tighten the back strap, but the small is too small for me. My wife got the small and she loves it.With a overlay this mask looks pleasing and stands up against thrusts and cuts with no problem. Of course, I've only had it for a month. Sadly, the interior padding is already wearing off. If you have the PBT gorget make sure to take the patch off the front because the stitching shreds the interior. I fear it will break and the padding will fall out. I have a beard and at first I thought my beard was wearing off the interior, it was a good joke, but realistically the gorget tears it up. It catches any velcro and is slowly tearing. I'll have to find something to replace it with. If it wasn't for the weak interior bib, I would have given this a 5 star. Mind, I know several other fencers who have this mask but are not experiencing an issue. I presume it is because they don't have a beard. Thanks, Caleb

I purchased my mask a few months ago and it's fantastic. It's quite comfortable, and durable enough to have taken many hits to the face without so much as a dent or scratch. There is one glaring flaw in the mask, however. Only the top half of the interior came painted black, while the lower half was the same shiny chrome as the exterior of the mesh. My group practices outside and I quickly suffered the consequences of attempting to spar while being blinded by the light reflecting off the lower half of the interior. I recommend that anyone who purchases this mask has some paint or black shoe polish on hand to black out the bottom half, especially if you practice outdoors. Even so, at $60 this mask is well worth the price, and I would recommend it to anyone asking for my opinion on a mask.
